FOOD SECURE FRIENDSHIP VILLAGES

This programme focuses on least cost investment of one solar panel and one water handpump to make destitute villages food secure.

This contribution is helping 13 Zero Carbon Villages, who have become self sufficient, to become Sponsoring Villages (SV) in a spirit of humanism and generosity.

SVs have each adopted 10 destitute villages as Dosti Villages (DV) or a total of 130 villages.

Under a well structured mechanism, SVs are utilizing their training as BEEs and are providing their expertise for food production at a small fee.

So far almost 70 DVs (over 4,000) Households) are on their way to attain food security.
