Yasmeen Lari's Zero Carbon Pono pilot villages, after attaining the first stage of fulfillment of rights based needs, basic flood mitigation measures and food security procedures, are moving on to the next stage of development.
In the second stage primary education and primary health arrangements become essential.
This is the village clinic built entirely through their own resources by Maa (Mothers) Committees as part of their own initiatives to achieve better health and improved living conditions.
Once the structure is complete, a local welfare organization Falahi Tanzeem has agreed to station health personnel to provide primary and preventive health care at a small charge to patients.
