PARRA TREES / TARPAULIN BEE (BAREFOOT ECO ENTREPRENEUR)
Day 22 - Parra Trees / Tarpaulin BEE will go to the village to perform following tasks:
Mark trees layout around the Parra (Household Cluster) boundary.
Dig a trench of 4ft x 4ft size and 4ft deep for each tree.
Remove the top 1ft of the soil and collect it outside the boundary to be used as mud render for boundary wall.
Rest of the excavated soil is to be collected on a tarpaulin sheet to be kept safely for brick making.
Bring fresh soil from agricultural land and mix cow dung in a ratio of 1:6.
All trenches are to be filled with this new mixture of soil and saplings are to be planted.
Advice the community to use potable/sweet water for tree plantation.
Each Parra (household cluster) will pay Rs. 100 for this service.
