TOILET SANITARY BEE (BAREFOOT ECO ENTREPRENEUR)

Day 55 - Toilet Sanitary BEE will go to the village to perform following tasks:

• Provide wooden commode with a removable plastic bucket.

• Fit commode in the toilet as per drawing in a 2ft x 2ft x 2ft trench.

• Line inside with single vertical bricks and finish with lime-sand plaster.

• After brick lining available space will be 1.5ft x 1.5ft and 2ft deep.

• Keep its edges 3-inch above the floor.

• Connect a PVC pipe from this trench to one (2ft x 2ft x 2ft) outside the toilet to drain the liquid.

• Fill the outer trench with rubble stones, brick bats and crushed stone to help absorb liquids.

• Spread a 3-inch thick sand layer on top to prevent mosquitoes and odors.

• Inside make a 3ft x 3ft and 3-inch deep bath area.

• Lay toilet flooring with proper slopes for drainage toward that bath area.

• Connect a PVC pipe to let the water out.

Each household will pay Rs. 2,300 for finishing their respective shared toilet.
