Flood Disaster Preparedness Strategy
Before a disaster strikes, among the most important tasks is to ensure safeguards against loss of life, goods and property. For this purpose our Women-Centred Community-Based Disaster Risk Management program should be implemented, where it may not be possible to achieve all the stages together; however, effort must be made to implement the program in stages to avoid displacement of communities, particularly women and children.
